No they absolutely were not.

I can't speak for the other classes, but Sorc has been underperforming at virtually every mode of play besides pug stomping for ages.

No they absolutely were not.

I do agree with this actually, the rest are very good but Sorc lacks in anything excpet ST burst which is easily countered with a cleanse.

The truth is that there are good and bad players uniformly distributed among all the classes, so if a class is often requested in city is because it is strong in city. and if a class is often refused it is because it is underperforming in city.

Here we even stacked two engis, sadly had a RP drop and was filled by an AM pug, but look at Egyptpower with 18deaths and his dmg/deathblows.
Good engis will still do well and be wanted, bad ones will sit on the wall and cry about a nerf they don't even feel since they do no dmg anyway.

In Citys you dont feel the nerf as Magus or Engi. But in RvR/sc you feel it if you ST specced. This nerf is bullshit and needs a revert like it was

By RvR you mean sitting in one place and hoping for someone to run by to Snipe? because you dont feel it in good RvR warbands because you are moving anyways. Half the time in the lakes you dont even have time to get more then two stacks before you are out of range.

So using your logic, all the players (or WL players especially) who cried here on the forum due too many attempts of nerfs (or WL nerfs which were tuned back) from devs were bad players and their opinions are trash and should not be heard anyway, yes? Why should anyone hear you for example?

I did not notice players ask for engi/magus nerf, but it is here and it looks like "it was very very needed and please all engi/magus players dont be surprised". I would realy like to see how would you enjoy the nerf of your most played class in combination with opinions from other players who do not play your class but have screenshots...

Magus is literally one of my most played, and I am here to tell you that unless your chosen playstyle was camp and snipe/BoC then there was basically no nerf.

Core Idea of this classes is to defend an objective and deal damage while not moving. Good RvR warbands? If you join a warband as magus this nerf makes not a huge difference to you thats right, because you would skill full aoe and run into the enemys with the sorcs/bws. Same as you play in citys.
But if you play in groups and much more competetive, not like the brainless aoe spamming **** like every pug player does... You would be pissed like me about this stupid Nerf. It hits the Single target spec very hard, so it makes no sense enemy to play magus in groups or in assist. Devs destroyed this.
Only the aoe spamming pug Magus/Engi will be left and the classes again a bad joke like on live server.

Magus is literally one of my most played, and I am here to tell you that unless your chosen playstyle was camp and snipe/BoC then there was basically no nerf.
So it looks like you do not play magus so often like u write or you do not play him properly. Using a pet is core mechanic so if you want to reach his full potential (and you should in every case) you are forced to use pet and the stationary gameplay style. But if u want to be more mobile you have to be good at positioning and managing your pet. As Toranes wrote, magus/engi is stationary dps and if you play magus so often, you should know it and we do not need discuss about it.
Sieges are huge part of the game. ST spec does not have to mean you have to camp and snipe, but is a natural part of a gameplay in lakes like the sieges are the part of the game.
What looks realy strange to me... your playstyle is not affected by this nerf so why do you care about the others?
