How to stop rerolling?

This does not address me specifically, I saw a general trend with that.

Given the nature of this game (t1 is extremely enjoyable as opposed to some t4 action) some players keep reaching 16 and rerolling the character - sometimes the very same class) in order to experience t1 fun from several sides.

How can this vicious circle be stopped? I also personally like to bring someone to 40 at least but I always look back at how much fun was t1

I tried deleting a bunch of my toons, 60 WE, 55 Mara, x2 IBs in their 30s, 75 zealot, about 3-4 others I'm sure I've forgotten. I've remade the WE and IB already, and made AM, WP, DoK to replace the others. You. Can't. Stop. (me) Rerolls.

As a veeeery aside, I really enjoyed Star Wars Gallaxy. There the only "rerolls" were racial, as you could drop 'class points' and change your melee to ranged or to support or w/e. I love that system.

I have 13 40s currently and 7 more on the way and they are all fun in their own way.
There is no progress for my main anymore so I gear up and level some of them currently.

I am of not much help.

You can solve this problem by making the level 16 to level 40/rr 70 experience not ball bustingly god awful terrible.

Im in the same boat, t1 is fun since its quick and simple action, but i made the decision to bring a class to 40/80 again.

Just need to decide which one.

For some of us, it's the trip more than the final destination. Or perhaps just collecting shinys. I know you always see a spike in 'old players' when new content is released. So, I'll close with, what's wrong with rerolling?

I'm not sure what the appeal is on T1, maybe my classes have just been slow starters. I feel like I'm missing so many key skills that they don't come into their own until T3.

I agree I'd love to see some quality of life improvement for T2-T3 besides bolster. Even early T4 I felt useful as healers and tanks. Frontload mastery points, renown abilities based on RR instead of career rank, etc.
