So what is the consensus on sharing crest/medallions/etc between characters in the same account?

Is this a possibility or is there little interest from a development side for this?

As soon as I got my SM to endgame gear, I put him in storage. I think if I could send crests to my other characters I'd have reason to play my SM again. Furthermore its 10 times easier to get a spot in WB's as a tank and endgame geared, than a dps for example.

The only consensus that matters. There is no development interest in this. Character progression is character based. That's how MMO's work, or at least how this one does.

unfortunate imo. End game royal crest sharing based on realm/acct would be a big benefit for the game. Unfortunately, after a certain point, there is little reason to keep playing old characters.

I'd like to see this as well, however we see what wargrimnir stated and in the end what devs say goes. That being said, I feel like this would be a good way to FURTHER promote 2/2/2 premade for cities, as one could log onto a healer / tank / whatever is needed at the time, join a premade then funnel the royals to their ' main '. The major downside being people who already have full sov can easily funnel their excess royals to alts.

I think exchanging them between characters with an -50% loss would help, but not break the game as true character progression would still be much faster. At the same time it would help with the problem the op described, when your wb just wants you to use your decked out character "just for this city"..
