Rapid leveling?

Is it just me, or is leveling much quicker in RoR than it was live? I don't remember flying up through the levels like I am now. I really like doing PVE (yeah, I'm that guy!) but I am finding that I outgrow areas before I get through most of the quests.

Is there some sort of XP boost going on? If so, is there a way to disable it?

It took me about a month on ROR to get what took me a year on Live.

You can reduce it by buying xp reducer potions from Warcamps in all tiers I think.

But now rvr is only in two tiers so reducing xp isn't worth it as much unless you primarily do scenarios.
