Stuttering every 2-3 seconds only when in a WB

Hi all,

I have a very specific stutter issue that only happens when I am playing with my main in a wb. I tried all the suggestions to increase performance and reduce stutter. But this doesn't seem to be a performance issue as it only happens in a very specific condition. Here is what I did to test the problem:

- Removed all addons and went back to the original user interface.
- Cleared cache.
- Turned downed all the effect to 'self'.
- Tried both windowed and fullscreen mode.
- Went to IC and joined open wbs so I reduce the performance issues due to fights by being quite far from my warband.

I tried this at least 10 times to ensure this only happens when I am in a warband. To make things even weirder this issue only happens with my main. Tried the same thing with my low-level Choppa and didn't get any stutters when I join the warband. I didn't have this issue before with my main it started to happen 2 weeks ago and since then I tried everything to fix it.

- I played with addons and removed them completely.
- I dropped all my quests.
- I cleared my backpack.
- I removed all the items on my char and joined the warband naked.

Nothing fixed the issue. I believe I am having some sort of weird memory leak very specific to RvR warbands and my main. When I join the city instance with the warband I previously had stutter issues with, it just disappears in the city fight. I don't need to relog or refresh the UI. I am not sure if this issue is related to my local files. Is there any other character specific files or folders I can check/delete other than user\settings\Martyrs Square?

This issue is really killing my gaming experience and I am open to all kinds of suggestions. Thanks in advance!

what cpu you have? maybe you have many cores and the process is starting to jump from core to core causing those issues. just a guess. try some process lasso or something to limit to few cores only.. 3-4 for example.

if nothing helps and you have free space, try it on some linux distro to see if its something to do with your windows install

laptop? I found changing the power settings really helps with stutter. Try downloading Razor Cortex Game booster for the game booster. Had same issues as you until i installed it. It's mainly the power management tools it utilizes i found out.

The only thing that sometimes fixes it for me is to do a /reload whenever I enter a new zone followed by deleting the contents of my cache folder. Then, after a while in the zone when it starts happening again, I delete the cache again. It seems to help.

My CPU is Intel Xeon E5-1650 which has 6 cores and my GPU is GTX1070. I had no issues with other games and again this issue is very specific to only my main char and happens in RvR warband. It doesn't feel like a performance issue since performance staggers I got feels different and more random. Nevertheless, I can try limiting the cores. Is there any instructions available explaining how to do that?

Nope I have a desktop but I will try the booster.

Total guess here. But you are running no addons(it appears), and the stuttering ONLY occurs in a WB. The Stuttering appears to be on an interval, which makes me believe it is either from Enemy or another addon which is sending out party/WB wide commands of some sort.

Does this occur when you join any wb? You said when you play your main, does this mean your other characters are NOT experiencing this issue? In that case, there is an issue somewhere on that characters UI/addons. Easiest solution would be to create an entirely new Profile for that toon. Go too XXX\Warhammer Online - Return of Reckoning\user\settings\Martyrs Square and find the profile for that character, remove it(move it to another folder, dont delete just in case), then start the game, login to the character. The game will create a new profile.

Otherwise, I would suggest you install and utilize the Enemy addon as well as some of the basic addons that come with the Torrent install of the game.
