RoRLauncher.exe - Application Error

Hello, has anyone been able to resolve this issue with the Launcher?

When I attempt to open the Launcher, I get an error stating "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."

Never had an issue like this, wondering if anyone else has seen it.

Hey,

is this a fresh/first time install?
Move the RoR Folder to c:\ (or atleast it's NOT in c:\program or a folder which it wont have write access. For instance move it to c:\Games\Return of Reckoning)
Is your windows up to date?
have you already checked if your whole ROR folder is whitelisted?
Check your firewall as well?
Your whole RoR folder has the right directory setup? (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable the read-only box)
