You could cast cc on the pet when you see it coming. I dont think being able to cast abilities in this 2s time frame is of any impact at all. In theory it allows you to cast exactly one more ability (gcd is 1.4sec) in between.

No impact, but you then go on to say it allows for an extra ability? Given a 1v1 may only involve 7-8 abilities, that's a huge benefit over the Mara pull.

You most likely won't cast any ability in this timeframe because your only ranged attack is axe toss. But if you really want to get your point across: yes, in theory wl can cast an axe toss while the lion charges its enemy for the fetch.

You can use leonine frenzy/brutal pounce or change stances or use pots.

If you can't notice big white cat running towards you, its your problem. Also, lion can be snared/cced without much problems if you don't want to get pulled.

It's not like lion gains teleportation ability with speed tactic, its pathing is broken, sometimes it stops, or get in melee range but ability is not usable, sometimes pet just runs back when it is ordered to attack.

There is no huge disparity between lion and mara in regards to pull, if destro really wants to make pull instant, it shows complete disregard of game balance and how broken this ability will become

yea tell this to the order players that said they died the most due to maras pull, becos it is if not the most obvious ability in game, i mean a straight line across the screen right at u, like the guard range addon, and u fail to interrupt? its clearly your problem.

i find it ironic sw ranged kd has no range check but mara pull does
ive died way more times getting zerged because of a sw kd than i have a mara pull

now that i think about it, in my time playing since coming back in february i've died maybe three times because of mara pull into a zerg, sw shenanigans happen every time i play.

Yeah both mara's and wl's pulls are easy to recognize, no one is arguing about that
