tbh defending against a single (!!!) stealther is just a chore and absolutely not gameplay that's engaging/fun. jUsT dEaL wItH iT is certainly a tsance you can take on this, if it makes you feel superior good for you but stuff like this is what keeps people from sieges

I was on guard duty this weekend. Me and two slayers stood at the top, I kept placing mines on the ramp, had a flame turret on aggressive and kept napalming the ramp every refresh.
WE still got through. She didn't make it to the lord, but she still got through. I though napalm would have broken the stealth? I do not have proximity alarm yet as I'm too low of level.

Wow I did not know the gun midgets had something like that. Is that from live or some creative ror-thingy?
Also; I love the lord tagging and hope it stays. Its not just a way to mess with order, last time I did it because wb leaders
wanted to delay order in Eatine so we could get reinforcements from yet another failsiege of fort. And it worked.
Tactics and fun in one bucket, what is not to love about it?
Just get your wh's to be useful and intercept outside keep instead of group ganking soloers all over the map except where its needed.

If I may suggest one thing to make this thread more fruitful:
Start suggesting actual alternatives that suit both sides. Give ideas that are absolutely fair for both factions and put yourself in the opposite side's shoes in every suggestion.
Seek alternatives that you don't find overpowered when you're defending and at the same time not easy when you're on the offense, aiming to tag lord.
I don't personally agree with what this thread suggests but I'm trying to help you guys find a common ground. However it doesn't mean that the Devs team would or should change the system.

Actually, getting hit and stunned by a Magus' nurgling doesn't break stealth. Dunno about mines, but I imagine it's the same. There is only two explanations to why this is an issue (and it can be both in many ppl's case):
* lazyness of actually taking actions and dealing with it
* you're just bad
Though both have one common thing - based on a L2P issue.

If you're slacking very hard once you push out the attackers, it's on you. If you have no defences or terrible defences, it doesn't matter if it's 1 random WE/WH stealthing through or well coordinated 12/24man pushing through posterns, running up and tagging the lord.
Reality is that unless you have actual organised WBs in the keep, 90% of the defenders are just standing in the keep afk or are all over the map doing absolutely f*ckall to help the keep to close. No wonder it then gets tagged numerous times.

LVL 35 tactic. As far as history, its been along time since I played live, I don't remember if it was there or not. Someone who has been here longer would know.

Overall, this is a non-issue. When WE/WH is in stealth, their enemys have no collision and can build a pretty tight meatwall with no way to wiggle through.
Dying is no option.

This screenshot has been posted on Discord by someone. That's a team effort and a thing that could be annoying, but it can be annoying for 10 minutes only instead of 30 mins and 40 minutes of random keep defenses. It's a WE that died trying to sneak in and getting body blocked and revealed, then killed.
Whether the WE is under-leveled, unskilled, unlucky, etc. we cannot deny the team effort here that prevented any other WE from entering.

Yes its true this could easily be stopped by people body blocking the door even if a lot are afk for that ten minutes and I see people attempting to do that more now. I do kind of agree with the person that posted this that ten minutes is more than enough time given for the attacking side to regroup and come back if they want and I really think it is just wasting peoples time that the timer can be reset by 1 salty wh/we. I don't think sitting around for 20 minutes after the fight is over can be much for attackers or defenders.
