Spot Farming Behaviour

Greetings,

I just wanted to know if it is a common habit in this server to stealkill and to ruin someone's farming session ?

It's been now 2 days in a row I'm farming gear in Chrace, letting everyone at his business, minding mine, then suddenly the place I am is zerged by one or two chars stealing my repops and emptying the zone without any word.

So is that the common behaviour here or just stupid people ?

I'm not here to name and shame, I just wanted to know.

Sure the repop is fast enough but still having to wait during those boring farming sessions is even more boring.

I thought the stupid behaviour were reserved to official servers, guess i'm mistaken.

Enjoy (or not) your game and thanks for reading.

yes it's common we get threads like this all the time
x or y stole my kills or killed me whilst farming or attacked us in lair, ect. ect.

it might not be a very nice thing to do but it's an mmoRPG - some people roleplay as dickbags. congratulations, you just made a nemesis, and pve just got more interesting. now go make some friends, find out where these people who screwed you farm and return the favour in kind

it's common, try to speak with them ,in a nice manner ,at least at beginning ,if it doesn't work move to other spot or find something else to do ,PvP ,hiking in Mount Bloodhorn trekking ,whatever ...opening treads about, swearing ,cursing, flaming in chat channels only hurts yourself .

How fortunate that I have some free time to implement mob tagging.

I see your point and yes, the general tide in behaviour in the server had moved from cooperative-competitive to selfish-greedy. Its sadly happening, and it has to be in part with the amount of new players and being, again, semi-anonimous. No need to have a social-representation makes most of people revert to what they think is the natural state of behaviour in nature, thing that is not with humans as the cooperative feeling is what make us great among animals, fighting for survival as groups instead of as individuals.

As Morf said, remember names and gives them hell in your our terms, not in theirs.

In the bright side, when t2 comes around, hope that soon, this will mostly likely revert due to pure selfish need and sudden lack of knownledge :)

spot farming, farming, killing mobs over and over, waiting for respawn and again. Isn't it make you crazy? WHY we all couldn't have all necessary gear available at beginning of game, just all you need waiting for you in warcamp! That all ppl can enjoy playing rvr on the same level of gear!
It is private game, you dont need money form subscriptions or form any shops, so why you cant give ppl all items they need and can use? Let's forget about farming, trading, bad behaviour, angry ppl and many bad things! Let's play WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with this, but devs, with a good reason to bring back the full spirit of WAR including drops, mostly dont.

How i see it:
Vendors to allow ppl to get the best gear--->NO, top gear should stay as drops from mobs, ergo Blue/Purple items. If u want it, work for it and get lucky.
Vendors to allow ppl to get an in-paired one (shoulders, helms, weapons, etc...)--->YES, they are backstabbing some classes (slayer, choppa, AM, ...) and all us should be able to buy greenies to fight in parity, cause its all about PvP.

I see this as a goal for post-t2 release anyways. Its clearly a highest goal in the player-base.
