tha being said... the new shadows etc. shining through GUI elements like the Tome of Knowledge... is this intentional or a side-effect?

Side effect, trade off. I dont think its that bad.

Hello I download and extract to the library but when I log in to my char I can see black screen
I see the action bar a chat the minimal but everything else is black.

Did u have a previous installation of reshade? If so try clean installing it. Also make sure your graphics card driver is up to date.

Hey mate, I got the same issue, I've done a clean install after coming over from a previous version, I also used the nvidia inspector to reset to default as you told us too. My gfx card is up to date. So I'm a bit lost on what to do to fix the issue. If I set the video graphics in game to Fastest Framerate the picture comes back BUT the screen flashes nonstop when moving and such...

What's your graphics card model? I run a gtx 1070 ti. Also make sure there's no d3d9.dll file in your warhammer folder.

I just find this topic yesterday so it was full fresh. And I also refresh my video card yesterday.

This reshade makes my map transparent for some reason. All the background models pop out and it's pretty distracting when moving and checking the map. Using an AMD card here. Here's a pic: https://i.imgur.com/Z1m1Sz8.png

I just find this topic yesterday so it was full fresh. And I also refresh my video card yesterday.

Hmm, press the pos1/home button on your keyboard and try disabling MXAO, maybe that fixes it. You can also check for errors in the logs in that menu.

Caused by ambient occlusion, you can disable it by pressing pos1/home button on your keyboard and uncheck MXAO.
