Engineer PvE Build

Hello everyone,

I am a newish Engineer currently sitting at 40/49 and wanting to dive into PvE as well. Having a hard time finding any builds/tactics to run for PvE on the forums, generally any info on PVE. Anyone will to share their thoughts or what is comfortable for them?

Thanks!

1. Masterful aim
2. Ancestral inheritance
3. Trench fighting
4. Extra ammo/well oiled/expert skirmisher

You don't have to use an armor pot but then if you do you'll have something like 70% physical damage reduction and you can take on many more mobs at once. This is for solo PVE mob farming like squigs in black crag.

If you're in a dungeon, swap ancestral inheritance for extra ammo. 4. should be expert skirmisher, and swap 1. for fightin chance. The idea is to spam gunblast on bosses really fast at 20ft range. You can also take out trench fighting and slot in masterful aim again if you feel you're too low on main stat

This is using some tinkerer tactics

Thank you for the assistance! I should've specified in my original post that I mainly meant getting into the Dungeons aspect of PVE.
