Constant short freezes/spikes every 5 secounds

I am afraid this situation is linked to the game itself. We noticed an amazing improvement when they upgraded the server, but thing seems to get worst and worst, particularly since they try to rewrite part of the code some weeks ago.

Restarting game help a lot, /rel and clear cash help a little, play in 64bit, set graphic to fastest frame rate and type .vfxdisable each time you log in. But it will just improve some minutes playing, lag and spikes will come back very fast

I don't know if the devs are even aware of the situation.

It isn't supposed to fps lag like this after a few minutes gaming. The periodic lags mentioned in the op are caused by addons and /rel or restart game fixes it.
But this has nothing to do with server network lag.

To be honest I do not expirience RoR behaviour like this. i5 9600k should be fine. Game uses only 1 core anyway and there is no way game utilize more cores, so dont bother with it.
I turned off WSCT which helped me a lot with some stutter/lag during massive fights, but I dont have "constant" lags and freezes. Even after hour or two game run just fine and I rarely clearing the cache folder or restarting game. I do it sometimes before forts and cities to prevent game crash.

I run the game on Samsung EVO 500Gb M2 disc and changing power management of SSD in Ryzen balanced power plan to "turn of disc after: Never" solved most of my wierd PC behaviour.

I don't know if the devs are even aware of the situation.

The server improvements help but the issue you describe are associated with addons and cache.

Removing unessasary addons from both addon directory and folder under user/profile helped double my FPS
Removing contents of cache directory helps reduce stutters
Doing a /rel reduces the effect

You can believe that it’s server but as manny clients are running fine you should realize that the stutters are local client issues usually and not server based.

I think being in warband no matter the addons or default UI even with any kind of frames hidden will cause freeze spikes every 5seconds if the warband members are not in the same area and I mean very close area. Even if you're at the warcamp and your wb is at the keep of the same zone you can have freezes every 5 secs. The irony for a game encouraging group play. I prefer playing solo now if Im not in a premade.

No in warbands often , no stuttering .
Unless you are running with the Zerg there is no lagging usually.

Once a player leaves a wb the game comes back to normal and runs all sexy and flexy.
Somebody mentioned that enemy helps with this but didn't really explain how to work it out. I believe that sooner or later someone with similar problem will find a solution to it or perhaps devs might alter the game's code so that to solve this silly wb joining issue.

The answer is stutter is addons.
This has been found to be addons 90% (probably higher) of the time

Have had stutter , other people have stutters , /rel , removing addons, cleaning cache fixes this.
This is not a “try this maybe it works”, this works and removes the stutters .

I am running a clean addon-free with the lowest videos settings (fastest framerate etc.) Warhammer RoR client downloaded 3 days ago from torrent provided by the website. I have literally nothing installed or added to the game whatsoever. I am testing the issue step by step and everything is running beautiful, even I manage zerg situations at fort sieges, funnels etc. but as soon as I join a warband, BANG! Every 5 secounds the game stops and releases, stop and releases. Then, when I leave the warband that games runs nice and smooth again. /rel doesn't change/improve anything because i believe it is related to other issue.

Thank you for your help guys anyway.

I am still interested in how to make the game using the full potential of CPU cores (sorry if I haven't used the right term for that).

One suggestion to try.
Make a copy of the game in a separate directory
Delete everything from addons directory
Delete everything from user directory
Delete everything from cache
Try that

If that still stutters check windows logs and game logs for errors
P.s when I had the 5sec gap stutter issue I solved it by this, remove every addon , all config stuff and cache it sorted it. I identified it as in the user directory one of the games own addons had broken , probably from a crash
The game UI components are addons , just EA addons but same technique and can break

Already did. It really has to do with something else than setting, addons etc. I even increased the resolution to 1920/1080 and the game, as soon as i run solo, performs brilliant.

I am trying to fiddle with warband frames, trying to disable them etc. Tbh, the freezes are so minor now that I think I'll stop figthing with this ****
