Just had a T2 Dragon's Bane with a few Order getting 8,9k renown for 26 kills (most got 6k+), but most on Destro side gettin less than 4k, most not even 3k renown. The winning renwon bonus of 1k did not feel rewarding enough. It encourage zerging for kills over objective way too much.
There should be a better balance for renown on Kills / Reaching 500 Pts, it makes little sense when you won the sc and get half the renown, that doesn't feel like winning at all.
Anyone else feels the same?
Playing Objective in SC shouldn't be punishing (Dragon Bane)

SCs are PvP thing, you shouldn't avoid enemies and expect you will get rewarded for it, even if "playing objectives".synyster3 wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:23 pm Just had a T2 Dragon's Bane with a few Order getting 8,9k renown for 26 kills (most got 6k+), but most on Destro side gettin less than 4k, most not even 3k renown. While I agree, the devs have made changes to SC scoring in the past to encourage playing the objective. For example Nordenwatch doesn't give any kill renown or drops. You just get an 'estimated kills' bonus at the end based on score. I'm personally against this as it vastly reduces drops of emblems, but it does make playing the objective the best way to get renown from the scenario.M0rw47h wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:28 pmSCs are PvP thing, you shouldn't avoid enemies and expect you will get rewarded for it, even if "playing objectives".synyster3 wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:23 pm Just had a T2 Dragon's Bane with a few Order getting 8,9k renown for 26 kills (most got 6k+), but most on Destro side gettin less than 4k, most not even 3k renown. Just saying even on the same side you get massive gap on renown gained.. Highest 11k renown with 17 kills, and there is a guy with 16 kills walking away with 3.7k.. both on winning side.. I assume its due to group contribution, which shouldn't be that massive of a difference.
While the losing side 478 - 500 points a very close match.. their highest being 2.5k renwon with 8 kills... something seems off with the effort reward ratio is what I am trying to say here. Im all for smashing each other in SC, but the inconsistency of the renown doesn't feel good..
Re: Playing Objective in SC shouldn't be punishing (Dragon Bane)
If you chopp a Choppa with help of your group your renown is split between group. If you chopp Choppa alone at side BO without anyone interfering it's all yours. Also, it makes difference if chopped Choppa is RR20 or RR90.synyster3 wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 3:32 pmM0rw47h wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:28 pm

They're scenarios, not arena battlers. If playing the scenario to win doesn't force people into combat (Thunder Valley) it means the scenario is broken, not the people.M0rw47h wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:28 pmSCs are PvP thing, you shouldn't avoid enemies and expect you will get rewarded for it, even if "playing objectives".synyster3 wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:23 pm Just had a T2 Dragon's Bane with a few Order getting 8,9k renown for 26 kills (most got 6k+), but most on Destro side gettin less than 4k, most not even 3k renown.
