t4 end game campaign (capture the flag & king of the hill)

How it is currently in the ROR:

I will use Empire Vs Chaos for all of this as it will apply to the whole campaign. t2 -t4

1. Lock down BO's to get the resources which you then take back to your keep or the warcamp to build up the ranking system.

2. Get enougth resources and I believe at keep rank 3 you can get the ram to take down the enemy keep.
3. If you get a back and forth RVR match and no one takes opposing keep, then level your keep up to rank 5 and the zone auto locks.

This is for the most part basically it in ROR and the keep fights are just zerg fests with people just camping in the same spots. keep door, postern door the top stairs spamming aoe, its not very fun and people just afk.

The idea I propose at the moment

1. Taking a BO in a zone will offer your realm points automatically when you hold it down for a period of time just like in scenario nordern watch, that BO will then lock down for 20 to 30 mins. ( this will force players and enemy players to fight for the next BO'S in the map)

2. Keep ranks will no longer be in the game for now. When a realm has got enough points from BO captures the next stage will happen. The realm warcamp will depoly an evoy with a ram automatically which will travel to one of the unclaimed neutral keeps at random or just spawn at the keep.

3. Keeps will start off unclaimed with no owners. No one will be able to enter the keeps during stage 1 and 2.
The ram wont need any players on it and it will take the keep door down its self and will be immune to all damage. Players from both realms will fight outside the keep whilst this is happening and some will continue to fight getting bo's to get the other keep aswell making it more diverse and spreading the fight.

4.When the first keep door goes down players will then go inside the inner area and the ram will continue onto the inner keep door. the outside postern doors around the wall will be open now.

5. When the inner ram breaks the final door instead of a keep lord there will be a neutral caputure flag in that space instead which the attacking realm or defending realm will have to hold for a period of time locking that keep permanently. Once locked a realm will need to lock a 2nd keep for zone control.

Benefits of this system over the current one would be, more time fighting in other areas of the map spreading the zerg and hopefully reducing lag a bit.. No more afks outside keep and waiting for the keep to reach rank 3. No over blown ram system with delpoying and trying to set it up. There wont be as much aoe keep defense zerg and spread the fight out more. No keep lord fight which is just well aweful at the moment. It will encourage more spread out fights and there is now no longer defenders. Now everyone can just attack and steal the keep from each other, even if one realm gets the first stage it wont matter becuase the other realm may win the keep. So I see it as a win win. There will be no more stale mates no one can hide in the keep defending with aoe. It will be an open system where it could go either way.

I would love to know what others think of this and what ideas or suggestions you have.

I found a slight flaw in my alternate rvr idea.

To avoid a realm faction just throwing a pairing by afk'ing until the ram is spawned to try and win the keep. The faction that wins a ram spawn will all be given a renown and xp boost for a short but worthy period of time so that it makes taking the bo's worthwile for both sides.

to go even further the realm that wins a ram spawn could also win a hero npc who will travel up to the neutral keep to either give an absorb buff or attack the enemy side who are also trying to win the keep.

We are not interested in rebuilding the RvR campaign.
