after patch my lvl 12 RP is now a lvl 6 Engi

Ok this is a surprise. I just logged on this morning after the patch and my level 12 Runepriest (Skolgrig) who is in full T1 gear and 12+ gold in inventory is now a level 6 Engineer with no gear and no gold. What the hell is going on? How do I get my Runepriest back and my gold as well.

just to add some clarification. I last played my lvl 12 RP last night for T1 RVR and logged off around midnight. This morning after opening the client and patch was downloaded and when I logged on my RP was a naked lvl 6 engi. Before making my RP my main I did level an engi to lvl 6 using the same name (Skolgrig). For some reason after this patch was downloaded that toon reverted back and I have last my RP. Is it possible to get my RP back with gear and gold?

If the character data was properly saved, then it might be recoverable. If it was cached with the old name and something weird happened, then it may have been overwritten. I would advise leaving both characters alone for the time being if you want a chance at getting it restored.
