cant launch game after download

Hey,
I downloaded game , then launcher showed up,it downloaded and installed patch,then I hit connet and black screen appeared like the game will start,but after few seconds,black screen disapears and im back in windows with no game launched .Can any1 help please?

Check you have direct x 9 as per instructions

I installed directx 9 and its still the same.
I press connetect in launcher then black screen appears like the game want start and then im back in windows desktop
any ideas for help??

I would do the following:
Move this out of /program files/ to something else windows automatically write protects the directories, suggest something like c:\ror\....
Then remove write protect of the directory and subdirectories

If still an issue check virus protection has not false flagged the game and put the new directory on the anti virus exception list

firstly thank you for taking the time to reply. It worked I am in.

That was a long few days trying to sort that out lol

It just wasn't saving the unchecked when I closed and launched.
