Is my computer capable of playing all elements of this game?

I'm thinking about giving this game a try as I remember enjoying it years ago on live (wasn't this computer). However, despite it being quite old I've read the game can be pretty demanding even for some newer systems (mine is not) so I was wondering if I can comfortably play the entire game with what I'm running or is trying this a waste of time.

yeah its fine. GPU doesn't really matter for this game from 2008. so even that old lowend 550 should be more than enough. the game is all about CPU IPC

Your PC is more than enough to be capable of playing RoR.

I have played WAR and RoR at 1080P high details,on my already dead laptop with i7 4700hq(4core/8 threads), 8gb ram and gtx 770M (Desktop gtx 660 non TI equivalent). I upgraded to 16gb ram lately, but it had ZERO impact on RoR, but mostly more modern games.

After my laptop died I was playing sometimes on my Moms laptop with Intel Celeron dual core 1.8ghz, integrated intel GPU and 8 gm ram with 5500rpm HDD.
WIth VinyUI Addons pack my framerate on 1366x768/Lowest settings was horrible and unplayable in big fights(1fps or so).

When I switched to vanila UI without single addon, fps and overal performance incresed by a lot. In huge rvr fights I got 3-5fps(1fps before) and small scale/scenarios was nicely playable 45fps + (before 20-30).

I think You should be fine on 1080p with med/high settings, however game starts to lag and fps goes down to 20-30ish FPS in largest fights 300vs300+ no matter how expensive piece of hardware You got.
