1) Which class to start with ? The no. of classes is overwhelming and i play with around 150+ ping so i dont know how it may affect gameplay
2) Professions. How they work and which to go for
3) Best way to level and get gear PvP or PvE ?
If PvP when to start it .

Hey there, welcome to the server!

1. I think you should play whatever you find the coolest, warhammer classes are all unique but all are viable in some form so don’t worry about choosing a bad class. You can always roll alts and hop right into battle at level 1 so definitely try a few out in scenarios to see what you enjoy most! Some classes are less mechanically intensive than others so as someone brand new you may find those less stressful: KotBS/Chosen for tank, Zealot/Runepriest for healer, engi/magus for ranged dps support. But in the end, play what you want it’s the only way to learn!

2. Unfortunately I have no experience with professions so can’t comment there.

3. Ive found the best way to level is to do the first couple starting quests until about level 4-5 and then start queuing Scenarios using the little red warhammer button on your mini map. You can also use the war report button on the mini map to teleport to an open RvR area where some action is happening and participate there.

4. BuffHead is a great add on for tracking spells on friendlies and targets. Enemy is a great group unit frame add on. State of Realm is good for tracking where the open RvR action is happening. You can download VinyUI here on the forums which comes with a bunch of addons but can be kind of overwhelming to sift through, but it includes all the ones I mentioned so you could just disable everything you don’t need right now.

5. Have fun and enjoy the game! Try out many different classes and play what you have fun with, not just what’s the most meta. And if you play a tank, make sure to use your guard skill :p
