About Gold and Gear wipe

Let us be honest. Does it matter?
In a few weeks, a month or so, t2 will become active. Within a week all the gear being used now will be obsolete and useless. Why waste time doing a wipe?
Gold; so what is someone has 20k gold? It is not real money.

FIX the dupping, YES! But a wipe? Not worth the effort.

I strongly disagree with this brutal way of dealing with problems, putting in the same bag the vast majority of "normal players" and the minority of cheaters and bug abusers.

I have been playing and farming legally for dozens of hours, sometimes feeling like an idiot hunting the same mobs till my eyes becomes red ... BUT all this is MY work, My patience, My investment.
According to some incapacity to prevent damn cheaters ... I will have to loose all my gold ?? If some people think gold is useless it is their problem but as far as I am concerned I am not ok with the process of wiping gold ... and I dont even talk about stuff and gear patiently accumulated in order to make deals (as gold doesnt interest people for nice stuff I find it convenient to trade, so I have some gear dedicated to this purpose).

All these "wiping" discussion make me feel really bad. I never have a bad comment concerning dev's, always be defending their hard work for the community but on this point I really disagree. I wont restart hours of farming to get gold again (wich will naturely be necessary to get some stuff in AH even in T2 or T3 or wathever extension we might get in the future) , because who knows if in 4 months there wont be again a reason to gold wipe people again because some ass holes are growing gold illegally again.
That's not a method you can use like a solution guys. As far as I am concerned I dont accept to become a puppet and farm for "nothing", investing my time in the game and restarting from the beginning ... because dev's dont have any other solution to fix problems.
This is my point of view and probably my decision to stop loosing time to growth characters and stuff on my account. I know some people dont give a **** of what I've said and that's ok for me, just needed to give my opinion because this thread piss me off.

This is exactly why the term "Alpha state" should be fully understood you are a puppet like the rest of us, if u spent countless hours farming that is your choice, you do this with the chance of having nothing at some point down the line.
Gold wipe/limit needs to happen, a new player would be at a huge disadvantage trying to buy items from ppl when thousands of gold that has been gained thru an exploit/bug is in the economy raising the price of everything.
I would not be happy to lose gold or items, some items i will never obtain again on this server but if it is for the greater good so be it.

Please just reset influence rewards, keep characters, infuence, renown, etc

Or maybe make those items bound to account or character so they can not be sold or traded for any profit?

Something that people have to understand is : There are going to be full wipes from time-to-time. Expect a Wipe even at T4 when you have an amazing character with a hundred hours, yes it will happen.

This is the hard road of developement. Everyone should prepare for it

EDIT: Even if you lose hundreds of hours of playtime on a character, wouldn't you like it more to play on a more developed balanced and working server even with a new char? Of course it would vastly worth more than your old character.
