New - Advice - Leveling / Class

Hi guys

I am back after 2years - first I was expecting to have my charac but looks like they have been all deleted, is that normal? can I request to get them back?

Any advice for me:

- what is the best way to level quick?
- I understood that MELEE DPS are above everything else - what do you recommend to play?
