Downloading the updates

Managed to download the game nut the updates say I need to download 111k of assets. So I tried running as administrator and redownloaded the game just to see if it was a lack of content. Anyone know how to make the update downloader faster or is there something else wrong?

Would be helpful with a screen shot but here is my best guess.
Make sure the launcher is in the same directory as game.

Normal process is
Download via torrent game
Place downloaded content into game director (something like c:\ror\
Remove write protect
Download launcher
Place launcher in game directory
Start launcher , it will update to current patch level
Close game and launcher
Restart launcher, it downloads a few more file,
Good to go
