Is Git to da choppa suppose to pull player with M2 Focused mind?
Re: Is Git to da choppa suppose to pull player with M2 Focused mind?
The problem is that destro gets a unique tool in it's collective kit. That can't happen. It needs to be jettisoned like crippling strikes.

Pull is like a punt for immunity so your M2 does nothing against thatwpc56 wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 11:01 pm So morale TWO ability that aimed to remove all CC from your character EXCEPT pull?
Does pull have any defensive checks?
Ensnare and disarm needs to land, can be block/parried, silence need to land, can be disrupted. I don't know about root but is there a check against pull or is it a 100% chance of landing the pull?
Re: Is Git to da choppa suppose to pull player with M2 Focused mind?
Biggest issue, are some players who deliberately position themselfs in a way, that when pull occurs, the one pulled is stuck into textures, let it be a door, tree, wall - because skill allows that.
Then, its an auto-kill button, on top of which such stucked player cannot be rezzed by friendly healer.

While it is a very bad, or easy to counter ability when one choppa is using it in smallerscale fights.DokB wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 12:31 am Oh, well if it can be defended then what is everyone’s problem with it? It gives out more immunities than Magus/BO combined and it’s the most telegraphed ability in the game so it can be interrupted incredibly easy.
It becomes an whole other beast to deal with in a largescale Fort/ keep situation.
If destro is dropping Sticky feetz in the doorway, break line of sight in a funnel setup and have AoE marauder knockdowns, zealot Winds, and choppas using their pulls on an order push you completly stop the push leaving very little wiggle room for counterplay.
And that is the result we saw yesterday when Destro succesfull defended 3-4 fort attacks in a day.
While I actually wanted to wait a couple of weeks by coming off as complaining about Destro and their largescale displacements and stacked utility, untill they have gotten to play Catchup to the mindless order zombiezonelock zerg, the fact is just that Destro have the tools to make a succesful funnel that have very little to no counterplay. And the "weak" ungabunga choppa waving his arms around is part of this problem, not even looking at if it is defendable or not (still needs confirmation)

A big problem with it is that even if you are in melee range and get pulled you still spend around 3 seconds flying in the air while you can't do anything, but can be hit. So essentially it works as a second knockdown which uses the immovable immunity instead of the unstoppable.DokB wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 12:31 am Oh, well if it can be defended then what is everyone’s problem with it? add on top of that, the time spent flying you are unable to cast anything but instant spells, and cant channel abilities.dalen wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 10:37 amA big problem with it is that even if you are in melee range and get pulled you still spend around 3 seconds flying in the air while you can't do anything, but can be hit. So no Hold the line from tanks getting pulled, or they will get away from their guarded target
Dps cant channel or cast anything but instants
Healers can only cast instants.
And for some reason the choppapull lets you often bounce on top of a collision target when you are supposed to land, so that adds an additional second or two where you are gliding down from whoever you landed on. this is not the same issue as you get Magus rifted. maybe it is because choppas can pull-on-the-move, and that in itself is still a big questionmark for me.¨
Get rid of the danm pull and give them a big hitting aoe ability instead!

IMHO just having a minimum range to get pulled, like 20ft would be good, so it only pulls those > 20ft and < 40ft away.wonshot wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 10:45 amadd on top of that, the time spent flying you are unable to cast anything but instant spells, and cant channel abilities.dalen wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 10:37 amA big problem with it is that even if you are in melee range and get pulled you still spend around 3 seconds flying in the air while you can't do anything, but can be hit. Not to mention that if you are the tank getting pulled you have to be in 65ft range to taunt. Not that you should be standing that far away from the incoming choppa. But to interrupt and not be in pull range is a 25 ft sweet spot. And if you get pulled the camera spins all crazy so good luck interrupting. Additionally, interrupting a single target is not really possible when the choppa is in the middle of a wb with sometimes several choppas casting at the same time. Knockdowns are really the only viable option. In small fights it easier because there isn’t a sea of bodies.
I believe the devs are working on the Y-axis stuff since the best thing about GTTC is that its a 5 second stun atm.

Re: Is Git to da choppa suppose to pull player with M2 Focused mind?
Destro did a funnel in reikland inner gate. In my wb 17 players got pulled behind/into the wall and could not be ressed. They had to do a Walk Of Shame from our WC.
"Not 17 pulls at te same time, this was during 5 minutes ish"
Destro had 4-5 choppas standing in funnelposition and klicking their winbutton.
I was also pulled,and i was pretty far away,as a healer.
The skill is broken and stupid.
