This right here, is the most intentionally ignorant claim i've read on this thread, and close to the top on the entire forums.

Just stop playing what you like and play something you do not like. Stop being selfish!

As for the guilds, good luck finding one in Destro. There's maybe 5 left for both scs and rvr
What you see as an 'ignorant claim' is simply me (and many others) being bored at the incessant whining from people who, instead of taking measures to alleviate their 'issues' (such as joining a reputable guild with abundance of every archetype, or making one yourself!), insist on having changes, or discussions, pandered to them.

If you want healers and tanks, but aren't: a) prepared to join a guild that has them, b) prepared to make a tank/heal yourself, then you have no right to complain.

The guilds are there if you look in the right places/are worth being sought after.

I honestly couldn't give two shits if you find my comments ignorant. Stop with the self-deprecation, go out and meet people in the game, find friends to help you level that tank or healer alt = profit.

People can't just play in trash setups and then come to forums to complain about losing with trash warbands full of solo players. When you don't like the situation, start to change it and start with yourself and find like-minded players.
That statement could have come out of twitch chat. Just level another character 4head.

Do you honestly think people want to level and gear a character starting from scratch and stop playing their main character they've most likely invested at least a couple hundreds of hours?

There's no catch-up mechanic to rr40, leveling takes forever, gear grinds are getting longer and worse.

Who'd want to level up a character in those conditions? Not many, let me tell you
What grind? You play the game and have fun doing pvp, at best with friends. Something becomes a grind, when you combine goals e.g. certain ranks with a strict time frame to archive said goals.

You can't play football, when all players want to be goalkeepers. This is pure logic in a role centred environment, where not all classes can do everything. Guildwars or newer MMO might be better for those people.
Having more than 1 class is standard in a game like this and with rested xp bonus it is even rewarded in order to adapt to situations, where some archetypes are lacking.
Getting gear was never easier than nowadays. Getting something for logging in would be the next step, no?

You alone are responsible for your gaming experience. When you are sick of losing, because of no tanks or healers in sc, be the tank/heal class and improve the gameplay of everyone.
Or make groups and decide who picks what class. Communication is required to improve this situation but it is a MMO after all.

I have no sympathy for people complaining about something, while they have the power to provide change.
Dying is no option.

I have no reason to reply to 2 people that spew the same things over and over again in every single thread and care for nothing outside of pushing their agenda.

Have a good day.

Edit: Forgot to add, i only play tanks and healers, so quit it with the whole "stop having fun stop being selfish agenda".

Biggest issue imo is tanks are boring to play outside of 6v6. WB tanking is literally not even playing, just challenges rotate, htl, taunt cancels, and morale pushes.

so many disagreements in this thread, or so many personal opinions :)
as tank main player 6v6 is most boring for me. bomb wb is next.
tank role in there is bot. guard bot, htl bot, punt bot.
best fun for tank is charging into 10 enemies and withstand,
fending off enemies on one way bridge.
last man standing in sea of reds.
to do that u need healers. no healer -> no tank -> spineless
there is a reason destro healer pools gone dry.

I kind of agree with that. Tanks in RvR are quite fun. I imagine Bright Wizard, Sorc or Magus AoE stuff is quite fun too. But nothing beats charging about a sea of red punting enemies before being taken down.

I just don't think there is too few tanks or healers, and the problems discussed here is based on TZs. I think urging players to tank or heal just creates a lack of dps, particularly mdps.

Don't hit your head on the door on the way out. I'm not pushing any 'agenda' whatsoever, and I'm actually trying to offer you some advice, but I suppose it's easier to just REEE when faced with the facts.

When people log in to the overpopulated side, the option is always there to go play underdog. But as 200% aao shows, people don’t do that, they want to win, even if it is against a door.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

You acknowledge, therefore, that there are ways to alleviate the issues you are experiencing - one of them being leveling up a tank or heal yourself. You just don't want to, that's the real issue at hand.

What about playing in a guild that has dedicated heals and tanks? Surely that would fix your 'issue'? Or are you a solorambo player 4 lyf, and demand that everyone play around you?

It really ain't that hard to get a char to Anni/R40 level, particularly when there's been a few XP events as of late. Stop being lazy.
