From the perspective of a long-time player, what you're experiencing right now is nothing more than a cycle. Occasionally Order dominates by having much more players. Occasionally destro seems to win every zone and have overwhelming numbers. It goes back and forth over the period of a few months. Eventually you'll see a short period of it being relatively balanced and then destro will be dominating rvr for the next couple of months. Back and forth.
What's more, it's also extremely dependant on your timezone. NA and EU are basically two very different games with very different players.

And this is the EXACT reason why you don't hear from the majority of the online community. Every time someone in here actually tries too bring something too the board, this is what they are meet with. Maybe next time you feel bored and on you're way too work, try read a book .. instead of spreading this kind of toxicity on the internet.Acidic wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 7:12 am Was really trying to not post in this thread, as 99% of it is just plain whine with not even a semblance of a half thought solution. But bored on the way to work.
I'd had some great feedback so far ... I'm just worried about the current state of realms, because i can start see a tendency of players who've been around longer then me (pretty much from the beginning of RoR) leaving, because they are feed up with how things progress ... And i can see a lot of you guys feel the same ... I only wish some more would join in.
Dont youza worry about dem Internet Trollz, meza will protect youza ...

Bore off with the holier than thou attitude: Acidic is completely right to call out vast majority of input thus for what it is - particularly when vast majority tends to be anecdotal/stemming from chaotic places where the player in question has not done their utmost to try and level out the playing field which, when talking about 'RvR imbalances', does mean playing in a tight, organised and disciplined WB (I see you dismissed this entirely in your OP).cfabr wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 2:22 pm Maybe next time you feel bored and on you're way too work, try read a book .. instead of spreading this kind of toxicity on the internet.
People tend to label anything they disagree with as toxicity/troll these days.

Of all the salty salt mines, this one is the saltiest.
Fact: Population balance goes in cycles because it is not capped so this is all player choice.

Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

If you are that quick to label anything that goes against your views as toxic/trolling, instead of actually hearing out the other side of the argument/valid counterpoints, then this is a futile endeavor from the get-go.
Just to clarify: I did underestimate how potent the changes made to pet scaling were, as did most people (I would assume) from the premade community until that fateful 6v6 event, but I did voice concerns for the pet scaling changes - even before the 6v6 event - as there were reports of Magus/Engi pets hitting pretty hard.TenTonHammer wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 2:58 am
The reworks were all disasters ASW, guardian wl, pet stat scaling so messed across the board that it even made Peter and the rest of the “LUL just kill the pet” crowd back and admit that it was over performing
After the 6v6 tournament, we went back to the drawing board and devised a comp to beat the GWL/ASW comp, which still, in fact, prioritises killing the pet =P
I maintain that the only thing that needs to happen to all pet classes is that pet scaling is reverted to how it used to be, but that's a discussion for another topic.

Re: Curiosity killed the shaman
Can the general population just please get more organized. Yesterday evening destro was out in force with guildpremades and wiping the floor with rotten-spoiled orderlings who had gotten used to superzerging zones with shear numbers.
Destro showed they have the tools, and not to mention organization to put up a fight. The issue however is that they only play 3 hours a couple times a week.
How can such a display of results not inspire and motivate the random puggies to find groups, guilds, friends to play with. It is a goddanm mmo for crying out loud!
It honestly goes for both realms, when you are putting in the least ammount of effort you should tone down your expectations accordingly.

The reason why I did not want to contribute to this thread is the quality of the thread, probably taking its quality measure from the op.cfabr wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 2:22 pmAnd this is the EXACT reason why you don't hear from the majority of the online community. If all you are prepared to consider “good” is text that agrees with your perspective you don’t actually need to post or make a thread.
The basic principle of any thing exposed to the general internet user is that the “#hit” posters are going to post.

Re: Curiosity killed the shaman
How do you organize with NA player pool.
2 tank(2h) 3healer 19dps. That's the problem of NA destro. which was same problem of NA order. we made it so far with constant balance fix.
no reason to stop now covering issue with 'it's fine in 6vs6'

Re: Curiosity killed the shaman
You fix this by playing something else than dps, if you want to win. Whether or not your numbers are exaggerated, it is entirely players fault.anarchypark wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 4:21 pm How do you organize with NA player pool.

People can't just play in trash setups and then come to forums to complain about losing with trash warbands full of solo players. When you don't like the situation, start to change it and start with yourself and find like-minded players.
