Read Only files on the torrent, recheck themselves read only

Hey everyone, forgive me if this has already been posted,

I download the torrent files andf put it on my desktop. I go to un-check the read only attribute, hit apply and exit. I go to check to see if it has worked and it has re-checked read only. I gave users full control and still does it.

same here, followed instruction and all on win 10 help would be nice.

Change the location that you installed the game.
Windows has some special directories which it sets write protect , guess u chose one of those.

I suggest just using straight off root , something like c:\war\

For windows 10 the read-only has three settings. Filled square, unchecked (empty) and checked (checkmark). The filled square will always be shown as the default setting for folders, even after you have removed the read-only.

Please check if individual files within a folder are flagged as read only
