Hi guys, I decided to jump back to play War on this server .
I downloaded the game , put the launcher into the game directory but when I click "connect" this happens.
Any solution?

Warhammer folder is set to Read Only. remove that checkbox....

I know it because the original uploader - of this very Warhammer folder you have - did not uncheck that. and everyone who downloads it has the same 'problem' ..

I hate to be that person, but I can't find where this is mentioned anywhere in the "read before posting" sticky.

When I press Connect, the launcher says that data.myp is read only, or access was denied to WAR.exe!

Some torrent clients will write-protect the directory to which you downloaded the client. Remove the write-protection and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

His error message, or what I can see of it, translates to "Access to the file WAR.exe denied."
