I just wanted to point him out beacause he was standing there and waitet that the troll only got 1% live left and then hittet him.

It's just childish and pointless to create this thread. One hundred percent pointless.

And since this sort of came out of nowhere from you, I have to ask if it has anything to do with the fact that I blew you up a couple of times recently?

While i agree it may be seen as childish it is not pointless, if someone is being a **** then its fair game to let everyone else know.
Dont feel bad i have a pop at everyone every now and then, mostly justified and sometimes not. Has nothing to do with u apparently blowing me up but then again im not one hundred percent of the time running with a healer or 2 or 3 or have the need to flee when in trouble, i log in to mess around not play as if my life depends on it, this is t1 alpha after all, remember ? anyway..

I did wonder about this. On a related note, from what I can see of the Ingame Terms of Service, it only refers to harrassing/threatening/etc or causing undue stress to another player in chat (correct me if I'm wrong though, just quickly re-read it a min ago). It seems though that if someone repeatedly waits until the mob you're attacking is at low hp and then kills it to get the loot, that could be considered malicious/a form of harassment. Theoretically, if someone were to record that happening (and let's say you'd asked them to stop in chat and they just lold or ignored you etc and carried on), would that be seen as breaking the rules and lead to a warning/punishment?

I realise you might not be able to say 100% if it's not been discussed and needs to be a team decision, I'm just curious really given what ya say about recording evidence since obv there wouldn't be any point if it was totally acceptable. I spose the difficulty is it can lead to what else could/should be considered harassment.

Unfortunately, you are right about this. I think the reason that harassment within the bounds of gameplay was missed in the original ToS was because it would potentially give an avenue for players to report opposite faction players for killing them repeatedly and other such stupid stuff that we wouldn't want to hear about.

However, I do believe that harassing a player of the same faction is outside of the spirit of the game and should be punished, especially when it's as obvious as repeatedly killstealing at 1% is.

I'd also like to note that we won't punish anything without hard proof or more reports. Make of that what you will, but anything else would be foolish. We can't trust one person's word.

Hey, that was my mob. Isn't that one of MMO's most legendary and fondest past time experiences? Will you really penalize a players account for fulfilling one of the most obvious and tempting engagements in an MMO?
