I've level 2 char to 40 on destro side, and I give up...I cant do SC unless I want to wait 25-30mins for a pop....

How do you want the destro population grow with this system right now? Soemthing's wrong and not fun at all....

Ok ok before someone say: Make youre own group....

Been trying to do one in 2h of play in the last 2 days....I get no answer....

2h, 2 sc's...nobody answering to make a group...

While on order side I get mostly instant Q has a solo dps...

Dont wonder why destro's always under popullated most of the time, new players just give up

So you think the overpopulated side is somehow getting faster/more consistent pops than the side that has less people? How is that supposed to
work?

But seriously join a guild from your play time that is focused on SCs and run groups. I can literally get a SC group 24 hours of the day on Order without difficulty and most of the time if I wanted to I could get into some Destro groups with my 39 SH that is in full Precursor. Groups for the most part get insta-pops in this new system and it’s working great. Only thing stopping players from playing in SC’s is their own reluctance to put in the (small) amount of effort to find a group.

Tank spec should totally be decided by stats (toughness, incoming crit, avoidance) instead of just 2h.

2h means not just more damage, but on-demand Knockdowns and better Punts, both of which are very important.
Even if they can't spam Hold-the-Line they still function as strong frontline that goes in and secures safe space for their team.

Even if the tank is hybrid they still have way more defenses than regular dps and can play more aggressively without a fear of getting instantly punished.

And personally i feel like most "dps tanks" are actually closer to hybrid builds than full glass cannon dps.

In small scale engagements like scenarios, a 2hand tank actually brings more to the party than a full defensive htl guard bot that hits like a wet noodle. I'm trying to get what's the line of thought about this decision but I honestly can't.

Just a question, if a 2h tank wants to get a scenario set that's actually made for his spec (Shocking!), is he's supposed to respec into snb or endure the long queues as a punishment? Is pugging really that bad that you guys want to completely make it the most dreadful way to play?

I am wondering, why we need forced sc setups, when it worked before. In the case too few healers or tanks queue, people had always the chance to relog or find a group. You don't even get frequent pops as healer or true tank. The sc experience is worse overall as before.

I say this is only a half measure.

We need completely different scen ques for the off spec characters!

Throw all the 2hd tanks in with the DPS healers and deftard DPS (is that a thing?) and watch them all burn!

2 handed tanks and DPS healers are considered DPS because otherwise you'll never have an actual tank or healer. Stop crying about it, you're just outing yourself as having only picked that character for fast que times and you couldn't give a **** about playing the actual archetype. Which normally I admire in a person, but not when they draw attention to it.

You will, when enough of them queue for sc. Or when some think they can't bear with it and log a healer. Why should dozens of "dps" players wait for a pop and no sc pops for hours, when they could just get dps vs dps sc matches, if those archetype is overrepresented?

Because without those restrictions, 9 times out of 10 Destro has a balanced team while Order has all ranged DPS with a couple melee DPS and get absolutely curbstomped.

I'm GLAD the timers are huge to enforce having some actual god damn tanks and healers on the teams.

This is bullshit.
The only sc popped during my session had 9 order players, 8 rdps or mdps and 1 tank. Is this your new sc balance? You lack guard, because you exclude all 2h tanks from entering this sc?
You lack all healing, while even a dps healer could use some hots, when they don't change gear completely to help you win?
How can you argue for this mess?
