Is the EXP gain quicker than in the original game?

I think that was removed a while ago.

race pairing bonus is gone.
now all parings give x2 quest reward xp.

Well, of course you didn't. You could get to 40 killing any mob.

Obviously i was stating what was quicker, in general.

I was talking about powerleveling. T4 dwarf QP was extremly fast (16 hours 1-40) with only 1 sorc (shaman ungrouped) or even caledor QP (a bit slower xp but easier to manage).

The reason lotd was by far better for leveling at 31+ is rvr bolster. Getting pushed to r40 made it possible to kill mobs much higher than your actual rank solo. In groups in pve zones, there was only apprentice mode.
