In order to not start a war over this, let's just say, pesky attitude, I will gladly tell you my two cents. I'm frequently playing a game called Ragnarok Online, where grind is your only option, see, that grind however differ from this. RO is firstly a top-down view game, actionrpg-style. Loads of mobs per map and altho sometimes tedious grind, very satisfying. In this version of war you grind 1 set of mobs that you cannot group together to farm efficiently because they will run amok and off screen, under the floor, into walls, so, you have but one option. Kill them one-by-one. You do this by spamming 1, maybe 2 buttons, over and over. And, even IF a item drops, it's most likely grey or a item you don't need. Tip: Counterstrike, Dota, Moba, League of Legends - good games with no grind.
It's not a matter of wanting anything instantanously, it's about seeing any kind of progress, at all.OldPlayer wrote:"Give everyone best gear, top level, top renown rank because I do not want to spend my time ingame! Because I do not want, because I want everything right nau!"
EDIT:
Another example of a heavy-grind game I've put more than 2000 hours into. Diablo 3. Again, same grind, different style of game.
