Tip: Counterstrike, Dota, Moba, League of Legends - good games with no grind.
In order to not start a war over this, let's just say, pesky attitude, I will gladly tell you my two cents. I'm frequently playing a game called Ragnarok Online, where grind is your only option, see, that grind however differ from this. RO is firstly a top-down view game, actionrpg-style. Loads of mobs per map and altho sometimes tedious grind, very satisfying. In this version of war you grind 1 set of mobs that you cannot group together to farm efficiently because they will run amok and off screen, under the floor, into walls, so, you have but one option. Kill them one-by-one. You do this by spamming 1, maybe 2 buttons, over and over. And, even IF a item drops, it's most likely grey or a item you don't need. Fun.

It's not a matter of wanting anything instantanously, it's about seeing any kind of progress, at all.

EDIT:
Another example of a heavy-grind game I've put more than 2000 hours into. Diablo 3. Again, same grind, different style of game.

Being RO player myself I'm very surprised that another RO player considers current RoR grind being "tedious" nor "satisfying".

There are packs of mobs being present. Using only 1 or 2 buttons does not seem to be the most efficient way to kill them tbh.

Statistical question: How many days did you spend grinding for a particular item? How many mobs did you kill? Was the grey/crap auction loot enough to buy you the item you needed?

Sidenote: In original WAR non-humanoid monsters did not provide currency for the kill. Current grind is much funnier than it was in original BTW. As developers plan "WAR as Mythic had it" I suppose they work on that particular bug.

Well i say if people like playing a grinding game..go play one..Warhammer had a grind aspect to it but it was by no means a farming/grinding game at its core. I think the main point being made here is the game is something like 3% complete...and with RVR non functional in large numbers due to crashes..PVP up to recently being one scenario and often unbalanced..few quests working or not at all on the day..maybe lightning up just a tad on drop rates wouldn't be a bad idea. I mean it doesn't have to go from 0.01% to like 50%..but just maybe a few numeric values higher. I don't think anyone expects any game breaking easy mode..but 4 hours of farming trolls/souls and getting 4 bloody items you may or may not need..isn't much fun. As well..any attitude of if you don't like it you can not play ROR is fairly dangerous to a game with this pop..and in this stage of development. Either way..slight improvements are improvements none the less..and the Warhammer online crowd are nothing if not loyal.

My heroes have never farmed Bloody items, they have 3 Bloody Weapons and 1 Bloody Shoulder total, all bought from Auction House. I do not feel being handicapped in combat. Why do people feel that they are handicapped if they do not grind 24/7?
