So I am downloading the game and getting excited to try it, I never got the chance to play WHO when it came out so this is gunna be my first experience with this game, so which faction should I join? I like to play Range DPS/Spellcaster, I played a bit of WoW from Vanilla all the up to BFA(till the made my laptop not compatible) I like Hunter's the most in wow with a melee dps char just for doing fun stuff with lol, ANY advice I will take! Also I see there are addons? Which are good for PvE aspect? Bag and quest mini map professions are kinda along the lines I am looking for in addons along with the class I play xD Thanks for reading!

Hey and welcome!
Both faction are good and if you’r looking for range dps you could try Squig herder on destro ( range/melee class with pet ) or shadow warrior on order ( range/melee with stance dancing mechanics ).
Bright wizard ( order ) and sorc ( destro ) are pure mage range classes with single/dots/ aoe spells.
There are 2 stealths class in this game and is which hunter for order and witch elf for destro ( very fun to play in solo/small groups )
You can find good addons in the section in this forum.
