At this point most people have full sets so I don't really care, it would only be a discouragement for new players. It is hard to change a system that has been in place for over a year.

I am pretty new to the game here (played years ago until lev 20 or so) and was hitting lev40 from nearly scenarios only a few days ago, so i have no clue how it was before in open PvP.
At 40 i then thougt "great, go RvR, have fun". Then i encountered 2 hours of "the zerg", no enemies, looked like we even actively avoided them (and they us), 50 mins of hitting doors, 25 mins of hitting a npc lord, 10 mins of standing around and then the same game started again in the next zone. Logged off, hoped the next day would be different, it was not.
Then i tried to play with a friend together around the warbands. Sensless too. 20 rp per kill beacause of some of the global bonus/malus buff i think. So we switched to another open zone, much better rp per kill, but practically no enemies there, so over all pretty boring too, but at least the few fights were funny.
So for me it looks like i have to stay either at some of the warbands, circleraiding, hitting keepdors for equipment and rr or i will stuck at my rr and equipment forever beacause of nearly no enemies at other spots, which often gave also nearly no rp and do not drop anything usefull.
In the end i made a new toon and play scenarios again mainly, much more fun. And thats sad, because the few fights we found in open pvp were realy fun, but they were far to less with practically no reward.
edit: Totally forgot about another "highlight", standing with 50+ people for 40mins at some battlefieldobject for tiny rp ticks before even going to the keepdoor.^^

I don’t agree with the statement that individual roll system is something bad.
It’s one of the best implementations on this server so far.
However, it does not make RvR enjoyable because of (some of the already mentioned points):
1) PvLord. It’s disgusting. This is one of the reasons why I hate Keep Sieges. There definitely should be only a flag that you should cap.
2) Concentration on battle objectives. I believe, Volgo wouldn’t be so mad if actual kills had more impact on roll system. Probably, PvP should give muuuch more contribution than PvBO and PvLord.
Malus may serve its purpose and become good after all (maybe it should decrease gains from BOs and Keeps too so people won’t stay in the zone just leaching ticks with a zerg) but devs need to implement one more thing: encourage people to switch zones.
And, please, no more +1 posts - we have a rule regarding it (so moderation may happen). Try to support your opinion otherwise you won’t be heard most likely.

Individual loot system is a great idea but it lacks polish. I would like to see rewards based on your actual contribution, not just for being present. Giving more bonus rolls for actual kills in RvR, or rewarding Medallions based on RR after locking zone based on fighting ( 30 kills = 10 medallions for example ) even with no bag.
AAO malus is interesting idea, but I would not punish people for fighting in PvP game. Removing AFK renown when enemy has AAO would be much more valid and could promote fights. You cant really wipe 2WB sitting on small square around a flag, you have much higher chance killing spread groups around the zone.
If you want to keep it, the current % of reduction is way to harsh, in my opinion, I would rather seen 100% AAO = 25% reduction, its still reduced reward, but it does not make people stop trying.
Or you could flip the system and give more drops for people with AAO based on % formula mentioned above.
Zerging in this game is its natural state, and I do not think there is enough population for multiple zone fights and only way to promote these would be greater impact of locking zones- Fort fights or city sieges. When these are implemented it might help with spread to ensure successful campaign to end, but at this moment there might be no solution for zergs, there might be no solution at all. Feel free to prove me wrong, but people just like zerging

killing is not everything.
rvr is more than pvp.
objective priority gives spice in rvr.
brain battle top on the brawling.
if you don't get it, that's fine.
if you call it pve, well, ok.
there are better ways to spend our time than discussing what's proper pvp.
it's personal taste i guess.
when 100 vs 100 requires fixing, i'm afraid small scale had to be low priority.
maybe ask devs to lower condition to open new zone ?
so you don't have to be stuck with 100 ppl.

Who says you?
- that small scale is just about killing ppl
- that small groups have no objective gameplay
- that small groups necessarily want to follow the brainless zerg blob (we have no need)
- that small groups do not constantly switch the areas to get out of the zerg and search for
other fights
(but if no opponent changes the area our hands are bind up too)
And if you're honest, most of the PUG WB's would not be able to lock anything without these ^^ small groups ^^ in the background.

Atm. it's almost like live was in some periods, PVE bo's, PVE lord, PVE zones. Except now I only get renown if I blob with rest of order zerg
