Server Lag - Any hope for relief?

I admit I have been playing a bit less the last couple weeks (new job - yay), but when I have logged on server lag has seemed pretty bad. Any word on any upcoming relief?

There are tons of other topics about that stuff. Its some bad code somewhere and they're working on it as it seems.
