Fabricating your own myth again I see :D
How do you even dare question if I know why the people I used to play with stopped? like you know better. Get over yourself mr dwarf, It shouldnt take much.

Btw ive been spending my RoR vacation days visiting santa and looking for Nessy.
But on a serious note, if you honestly belive we stopped playing because there was too many or good guilds to fight you are the one fabricating myths, since we were all about fighting and not stand in warcamps taking pictures of formations.
The day TUP showed you are gone. Didnt even bother to stay when competition shows up.

You're the laughing stock of the server now, mate. Just saying. Let´s see who will be found in the RoR history books. You´d just be a footnote on the 447th page who filled the spots of better guilds. Good luck finding Nessy. I'd say you have about the same change of finding the beast as I have to see D&D fight TUP. :D

BT certainly will. They are here from the start. Many have come and gone, yet here they still are. Didn't we have enough of this guild salt?

To stay on "topic": I think no buff or debuff is needed on any class tbh.

The balance issue is the distribution of utility on order caused by a later introduction of certain races on live? On destro it turned out ok but on order its crooked; some classes have a lot some none. Redistribute a bit and it all will be better.

I rest my case.

And you're right, Raga, i'll knock it off. It is not in the spirit of things. D&D just rubs me the wrong way

Re: Order fabled inability to compete

The moral of the story is that whichever side makes it more frustrating for the opposing side gets the numbers advantage.

That said morale damage is nothing new. Age old tactic. Literally nothing changed with aoe either, this is the meta as it has always been. Not that it's a good meta, but it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that has played live. It's obvious a destro pug that doesn't make use of optimal class synergies, moral pumps and counters like morale draining marauders is not going to fair well against a raving band of pyromaniacs.

Now the question of whether this is fun to play against or not is a different one. Much like the choppa pull was Order. Unfortunately, the way balance is set up is so fragile that a single tweak to BW can set it out of whack in either destro or orders favor. There's no easy fix. Until you have other viable aoe dps on order side, touching anything BW has is like trying to diffuse an unstable bomb.

Just an impression. I played both sides (I only like one class on Order side) but it seems the only difference is Destro having a greater love for melee classes compared to order. And a weird lack of turtle tanks. You can have all the ranged you want in a SC, the :| train has no brakes.

No need to nerf anything, just learn the core mechanics of this game.

As a wise man said, you can't dps when you're dead.

So are you open for some facts, or should I play along and act like you do? I too can come up with stories that fit how I want the world to appear:

"When DnD returned Hao got banned and was offered to talk to Aza and come back and play, but didnt want to. Therefor DnD scared him off". Please, we are better than this as players and a community.

Also I think it is rude of you to imply that NRM, PnP and the other good destro mains were not a propper fight. Because they were.

Fact is that after running 2-3 evenings a week, avoiding wedsdays because ther was too much zerging going on, on those evenings, and leaving the tuesdays and thursdays a little less actionpacked. Some evenings we had little to no action, when you are a guild only focused on fighting the good fights, and you have the options to join the zerging or face warcamp huggers motivation slowly fades. Mix into the equation that server had begun to struggle when ever more than 3 warbands was involved, Drama with the whole Aza+privatesever drama, and then on top of it massive slap in the face to BW M2 and removeale of our WL comp. Leaving us to a state where we could run BW but being hard countered by Drain Mara comp, or supperior displacement from NRM choppatrains.

People just didnt have the motivation to continue logging for one or several of the above reasons. And it is true we started to struggle with numbers, over the period of time we ran a guildwarband we had a total of 3 evenings where we had a full 24man attendance, in the last half of it we had the pleasure of 3 TUP guys who were given a home. When WAM did a call to arms on their discord they returned home, without any headsup leaving us struggling from getting 3fg to barely 2fg. So yeah, the shop closed.

Now depending on how deep your grudges are mister dwarf that is the story. I am sure you will hear the same version if you ask the tup guys who were involved.

I personally was still willing to play, and tried to join as a pug on the wedsday evenings but that is simply just not my cuppa I realized and called it quits, however still hold RoR and Warhammer dear to my heart. Just like Order will always be the one true realm (despite being forced to make a zealot to hunt aao and kills on the evenings where there were no action on order)

Where am I implying that? They are great guilds. I just state that D&D filled a void left behind by Phalanx and TUP. If we agree that D&D was on top at Order then you did not fight against the top guilds of that period. Therefore, by default.

Not going out on a warband night because you felt you will get hammered and call it off due to keeping your rep intact? Like I said, I happen to know a few of your ex-members :D

Surely it got nothing to do with the toxicity of your guild towards some players, ey?
Now depending on how deep your grudges are mister dwarf that is the story.
Very deep. Dwarfs never forget and I have a grudge against D&D. It is fullfilled tho now you're guild is dead and buried and within a few months no one will even hardly remember you ever excisted.

Final post. I told Raga I would knock it off and will do so now. Feel free to reply tho but it wont be read.

So we are on rumor / secondhand information basic here, okay now things start to make sence. You dont really know what happend apart from what you have heard whereas I was there. You are getting your information from someone that is an "ex member" either because they didnt like how things were done, or because they got removed (a fair few players were attempted to be recruited only coming in from RoR and not from previous games like Warhammer online, GW2 etc. but didnt meet the requirements)

Seems like we hit a scorecore here, instead of just page 447 footnote we hit clear rank1 on the roleplay grudgelist. That gotta count for something, right?

Say Bitter(stone) mister dwarf. But never the less, have a good day sir!
