please don't complain to dev's about making things easier to accquire when they already have made things easier and punished organised play for it in the process to appease puggies who want their cake and eat it without putting in much work then complain about it LOL... it really leaves bad taste in the mouth to see such complaints when they handed it out like candy for rng time played and little effort compared to the past where you actually had to earn it and fight hard always.
Like i said i didnt want to "complain" just give my feedback and what i personally do not really understand - what you probably dont understand is my point of view or where i come from.
how easy do you want it to be? when its the easiest its ever been? what gear do you see as competetive for starter? how steep do you want the learning curve because that varies from player to player?
Before it only ever use to reward TUP or Phalanx from destro for doing the heavy lifting and being top kills in zone... or it would reward King Ocara and his loyal band if they had been in the zone hours before anyone else and fought very hard for it... now its RNG stand on BO get a few kills maybe you get a decent reward ... but fighting hard and wiping enemy zerg count's for little if they take their ball home and quit the map before the end we get punished with it for less rewards because it looks like we have been zerging enemy... when infact they started with double the number 95 vs 42 in thunder mountain... but people do it to spite the other realm and organised forces get punished for breaking enemy spirit. So for killing too effectively we get punished time and time again. Its hard to get right balance... but sucks when organised are always the one's who get punished for being effective in rvr. (If we swap sides to even things up we get punished also) so its not ideal situation.
also are you talking 6 man or wb? pug or guild? there is quite a few differences
Also i understand your concerns, because game relies upon new blood and always will... otherwise population will dry up in rough times... so that was my concern before when xp to grouping up got nerfed and discouraged teaming even if that was supposed stop gap, and also nerfs to power leveling ways was a bit of a concern for similar reasons... (yeah its not hard for a determined veteran to grind up alts etc, but its also not really fun if you do it many times before... and for new people switching around to find new class that grind can be a bit off putting in a game they just dipping toes in the water trying to get a feel for it)
But the dev's have given people more ways to accquire different loot, now if they make BIS only available through one area and not another then you have very legitimate concerns... i.e forcing players from one aspect into another but so far that is not the case.
