Crashing alot

Hey all, i am asking this for my friend.
She keeps crashing to character screen after flying/joining scenario pops. Its 50/50 if it happens too often she simply stop for the evening. We tried different things changing files to 64bit client. Clearing cache file. We even took a look at her addons. Can anyone point us into the right direction on a possible fix? Is this a frequent problem?

when i get in city sc and die, it crash

What does audia glitch mean? The thing what you call a micro *bleep*
Or no sound at all for several seconds?

Also the crashes are not related to certain zones, happend ALOT ifnAltdorf though. However she crashed alot in other zones aswell.

Yeah, micro bleeps and general sounds not playing correctly. Usually means the audio.myp file is corrupt.

Ask your friend to either replace the audio.myp file with this copy:

Crashing in Altdorf can ocassionally happen, I get it from time to time (usually when I'm still in a party/Warband). It does crash less frequently if I'm not in a party/WB.

Thank you for the swift replies. Think the audio file was tried before. Will let you know if it solves the problem, otherwise will redownload from given link.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm the one with the crashing issues.

The crashes happen once the SC ends and the scoreboard is up, doesn't seem to matter if I'm grouped or not--I still crash upon leaving an SC a vast majority of the time--doesn't matter where I am or what zone. It seems to be related to SCs.

I have done the following and seen no improvements:

I've cleared my cache (and also replaced the audio file, as well).
Disabled add-ons.
Set the client to 64-bit instead of 32-bit.
Reinstalled the game.
Run on balanced or fastest frame rate.

Most people seem stumped on what I should do next aside from just avoiding SCs which is pretty frustrating.

Have you tried with other characters, to see if the issue is isolated to one character?
