So many Scrooges here.
Nothing wrong with giving some of the well-rounded/helpful streamers some form of recognition in the long run (in my honest opinion). I wonder if a 'Streamer' title/link to stream could be a possibility if streamer manages to acquire X amount of subs/RoR stream time. Could even have some 'restrictions' on what sort of streamer we would want to a
Publicity is a good thing. I know that most streamers are streaming because of the enjoyment of it, and that is a good thing, but I would also say that quite a few of our members may have been inspired to play the game after having watched people stream it, and for that we should be thankful/appreciative!
(Goes without saying, but we should remember that such things are obviously waaaaaaaaaay down in the priority list - and rightly so)

Re: Give Streamers a....
Question, do people really prefer Streaming over videos of highlights?
I mean in past I figured I would record and capture footage of fights, then edit and crop out lot of random walking around and boring flag hugging etc, and only focus on the big or challenging fights. But is there is now for some reasons more demand for full-footage streaming instead of video highlights or what have I missed?

So much hate! The guy had a decent idea and wanted to share, no reason to beat him down about it.

But the streaming af vs clipped video of action does raise the question as to how to measure time watched and its impact.
I know for my vids much more is cut than used not to bore the world

+1 point to you daniDanielWinner wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:56 pm Would be more productive to give titles and stuff to people who advertise the server with own resources since the team can't take money for ad-s.
Just my opinion.

Simple solution:
Give streamers the ability to embed their streams on the frontpage.
New players will have an opportunity to check the game out before they put themselves through the hoops of installation - getting hyped helps overcoming tech issues.
Additionally, such an arrangement telegraphs that the server has a healthy playerbase and community (even if its not neccessarily the case).
