Fallenkezef wrote: Sat Oct 13, 2018 12:35 pm In my opinion it's less the aao but more the grindy, formulaic style of rvr.

Form blob, farm bos till 2/3 stars, farm keep defenders, kill lord.

It's boring and most of the good gear are in rvr so it's mandatory.

I'll probably play more when the new gear comes out but I only find scs to be fun tbh

Well,

atm. other things have internal priorities than RvR. Just the way it is with limited manpower and time.

there is new stuff upcoming for everybody, I can promise that; some of it is not announced. That's the only hint I give at this point. (No ETA, No further details!)

Spending time on the somewhat freshly reworked RvR is not really an option for overall progression, besides bug fixing so gameplay is intact.

Natherul already mentioned in the team chat that once *bleep*, *bleep* and *bleep* is finished, he likes to revisit RvR because that's the area of the game where he is most passionate about.

So besides stating keep the chin up, I can't really much do for you right now. )=

100% percent agree with truly imbalance betweet classes like sh-sw or mara-wl, borc-sm. The most of my friends just lost interesting of the game becouse of this large nerf order classes - for example - nerf sw/slayer/wl/bw 2 moral and what we have on destro, we have imbalanced 2h borc ability on 20sec which makes him almost unkillible, out of immun sh massive control abilities vs healers plus 6k armor and ofc choppas imba pull. Situation going down and population are going less and less every week.

The time when destro have aao - its simple time when destro playing on order. Thats all !

Telen wrote: Sat Oct 13, 2018 9:15 am Order massively depended on its top classes on live. Slayer being a dps you could build a wb around. Kotbs with all its crit buffing.
Add to the big balance changes that give new tactics that werent in the original have all been on destro. SH becoming a tanky incredibly mobile debuffer and Choppa being able to break up formations. Order doesnt have an equivalent and in the case of things like Des now having a pouncing class and orders kiting classes having no speed proc tactic. Its just changes that the opposite faction didnt have a counter built into on live.

Live order were the more mobile faction but generally more fragile. Here des have become the more mobile faction aswell.
So true, just revert sh melee build, slayer's ID, BW second moral + flashfire and kobs stuck crit tactics and situation will be normalize

... while coming out in force saying they dont cater to anything less than 6man. While this overall revert screwed up balance more than anything, and then leaving us in this waiting situation for more than a month now?

I have seen vid from "other" server and was Shocked abou working LOTD and tyrant gear.... Meanwhile nothing changed on RoR not even GTDC removal or well deserved nerf for melee SHs... Does devs migrate to other server or?

That is all cool and wonderful, but still just words. We havnt seen any of this yet. How do we in the community know this will actually ever see the light of day, the only change we have seen was the removal of Warband WL after Azas departure, because some of the soloers were unhappy with WL (there for I draw the conclution that the changes we have seen so far have only been catered towards soloers despite several coments about this would never be the case)

And it didnt take 4 weeks of talking and testing to pull those changes, they were pulled without hesitation without looking at how it would affect the overall picture, it would seem. So now when we have this massive break between changes, it unfortuneatly just happends on a very rought state of game balance.

So yeah, cool list. Show me ingame patch notes instead.
Edit: I will try to be one of the first to apploud changes when we see more utility on order and more damage on destro.

Well, I can see the frustration ofc.
And you are not the only one. I'm waiting myself as a player for said changes.

From the outside it looks like traveling backwards. And I agree 100%.

However re-read my first post in this topic about restructuration.

Not helping from a player PoV, but in that regard, we are sitting in the same boat. :?

It's comments like this that deter me from bothering as much as I should. It's comments like this that spit on the work that the team are doing (and have been doing) for the past few weeks now. Just because the pace is somewhat slower recently doesn't mean that nothing is going on behind the scenes; we have a plethora of changes/discussions (as per Priority List) in the pipeline.

It's actually incredibly disappointing to see such little faith from the community.
