Login, Mailbox and ect issues

I don't know if this is part of a wider problem however;

at present having got past the client issues the server then lets me log in. Once i log in on my main i have 5k+ mail items and i get maybe 30s to a minute before the game removes all interaction and i'm left in some pittyless barren game (so far when i've hit this i've exited the game forcefully as the /exit or commands as a whole don't work).

I don't know if anyone else has this, or whether the mail items i'm due from black crag/riekland before the mailbox storm last night are bugging my out but not being able to play is a bit of a hastle.
