yeah, let's talk positively when all has been said. RoR can no longer exist in its current state, the truth about certain persona is out and there is no fixing it, you guys either stand up to the task or sweep it under the rug

Observations

Over the past 4000 years as a chosen of Nurgle, I've noted how some things change and others stay the same. Naturally I prefer the slow slide into decay and entropy but given that is inevitable I am prepared to wait.

I also note that this game, RoR, has steadily improved over the course of the past few years, despite a minimal budget and despite it being run by humans rather than the infinitely superior nurgings I prefer to run things....They've been doing a great job and I sincerely hope that whatever incidents occur, that the game can continue and the tempestuous nature of individuals is managed so that the game we all know and love can move from strength to strength, like a festering bedsore on the arse of a prone dwarf with its legs broken.

Oh, so, so broken.

Anyway, that's all from me. Keep up the great work, hope everyone can learn to get along and see you on the battlefield. Where I will be killed horribly by order.

What is the general perception of players now by the staff? That makes all the difference in the world.

Some players are wasting their time riling up a mob. The rest of you guys are cool. We're going to keep doing the server anyway.

Just gonna quote. "Trashbags", "Shitters". That is the general term used by the de facto lead of the project. Appraently on occasion used by other staff aswell. Dunno how Wargrim thinks either of those things are cool, but whatever.

There's no defacto lead. I don't care how he refers to "you people" (that's what I use), in private. Same way I don't care what you call staff members in private. If you take offense to a term being flung in general, why? Do you fit the mark? If so, just don't, and we can all get along.

Don't bait please.

If you missed the context, the fact that we are all shitters by default means anything Torque does, is for the benefit of anyone but us aswell. The big picture gets painted by the simple term.

And the question I answered wasn't about what we are called, it was about the perception of the players. The term simply defines that perception.

It is pretty simple folks;

RoR is a free game run by people who have a unified vision of what it should be. If you do not find anything redeeming in what they are doing, no one is forcing any of us to play. If you do not like the people running the game and how they run it, no one is forcing any of us to play.

I am no angel, I say what I feel. But I accept that my words have repercussions. I accept this. For all that I see things being done that are killing entire classes, I know that it doesn't matter. My feelings have no bearing. Their game, their vision, their house, their rules.

Of course the game will continue. Nothing will change though. The majority of the remaining player base consists of casuals oblivious to the corruption and abuse, as most of the dedicated players that wanted to see this game thrive have already move on- to what? Who knows.
I wouldn't be surprised if "someone" reverted the majority of azarael's changes that attempted to balance things out.
It is what it is.
