I don´t know in which part of France(?) you live, but the behaviour of some of the people in charge of the project is totally unacceptable in the civilized world (in any environment). Same is true for some players, but at least we are not forced to adapt to them.

I don't have two hours to listen to the entire thing, but from what I've heard about the situation as a whole, I can confidently say that this is indeed the 'beginning of the end'.

Many years ago I was involved as administrative staff for a server like this one. Different game, but same gist. A nearly identical situation happened then to the team I was a part of and the place fell apart shortly after because of the witchhunt and shitflinging that ensued.

I do not actively follow whatever goes on behind the scenes; generally I only pay attention to patchnotes and complain about faction imbalance. I don't know what any party is guilty of; what I can say is that the true threat to this (and any) server is the paranoia that will crop up from this debacle.

Azarael always struck me as a force for good, and I don't say that just because he happens to share my opinion of "screw healing on warrior priest". I know nothing about Torq beyond the fact that some people seem to be upset that he called them mean names, to which I must respond: grow up and get a spine. This modern culture of thin-skinned, easily offended prissy wimps breeds nothing but contention and strife. I can't imagine how anyone upset that they got called a shitter online manages to handle real life with all its casual "cruelty".

Azarael's been responsible for most of what I would deem the greatest changes to the game. To this day I still wish for WP Experimental Mode to return (even though I know it won't). Without him, I don't see much chance of any major strides being taken. And even if Torq is an asshole (which I don't know), being upset about name calling is such a childish, ridiculous complaint.

Anyway, there's my worthless opinion. Have fun with it if you want.

I am not trying to be mean to anyone, for the love of god when everyone says the same thing basically, people leave in droves because of one person (torq), and people leave and go start other servers because of mostly one person (torq) ....you would think the answer to the freaking solution should be obvious.

But sure whatever, keep defending the indefensible. I am sure I will get the boot for my comments, but it is the truth.

In all honesty, there is so much hassle and problems being laid at the feet of one individual then there is the old adage, no smoke without fire.

This game runs the risk of burning itself to the ground at this point if folks don't get a handle on this.

Loyalty is admirable but is this project more important than one person?
