Starting off: Gold-gathering tips ??

Greetings All !

I seem so cash-poor at T1 !! (Yeah, I guess that's what happens when you're actively in RvR and not grinding away at PVE.)

Can anybody recommend some ways I can generate a fair amount of gold at lower levels?

So far, the only thing I've come up with to increase my cash with some regularity has been to take Scavenging the minute I hit that chapter 2 Empire town where the vendor for that is... and then go PVE for a while, doing quests and public quests that involve fighting a lot of humanoids. Then sell everything.

This does work but can be time-consuming and I can go for several days where the population is such that, doing SC's and/or RvR is a much more interesting option.

I have forgotten 98% of what crafting was like back on live, years ago, but the 2% I remember is: It was a time-sink. So, I'm not super excited about the idea of exploring that as a money-making option. But, <sigh>, I guess if that's what you're gonna recommend to me, I'll have to do it. ;) ???

Thanks!

Farm NPC's and sell everything. With a bit of luck you'll have a couple of 1/2/4 gold dyes but it's a time sink.

They don't give much those T1 kills Quests Telen and he/she's better off to farm/grind some NPC's 5+ levels lower than his character level. My thoughts although.

Get T1 lair boss loot and sell it to players.

doing quests and kill mobs, very easy, doing all thing in pve, then yu can get very fast many gold.

i dont know, why the players have gold problems? in this game it is very easy to get gold. the important think, is the time, and if you do 1-2 hours pve combinted with quests, you have 10-15 gold or more, its different

Butchering can be lucrative whenyou sell all the trash mats that drop plus the gear. Hold on to blues and purples that drop and sell them on the ah.

As far as my experience goes PQs are a good way to get some gold here and there (aside from high-end talisman/potion/material trading) but they are also a good way to get some decent gear for use if you don't feel like doing PvP at the time.

True and PQ's are quite fun. For starting players I think there is a danger of leveling too fast with the changes to quest exp.

PQS are a good way of slowing it down and making money if you don't have an alt to fund your journey
