Do BW cause lack of diversity in order WB

The current state of the orvr with a heavy reliance on dps aoe as well as instant aoe morals leads to that the optimization of war bands tends to focus on these dps classes in the main and other classes second .
There are loads of threads about how to balance and introduce other classes into an acceptable level to get them into a warband as well as the threads suggesting Destro is more flexible and less dependent on one specific class.
The thing that is common these threads is the reasoning behind why the other classes are less desirable and that is clearly that order classes as a main are similar except when it comes to BW which is a clear king in aoe dps both moral dump and standard rotations .
The big question is how to adjust the BW to give space for other classes without affecting order / Destro balance.
Personally my thought would be to follow the soc model where aoe dps class with moral pumps don’t get access to m2 moral . This would still leave main standard damage delivered by BW but choices would need to be made for M2.
Just now order warbands don’t need to chose.
Question is is this stopping diversity or is it something with classes ?

No, primarily the viability of other classes in warband causes lack of diversity, not BW strength, though BW strength is still part of it.

Recent WH changes are strong and viable for wb, and WL is being tweaked to have viability. SM changes made it more viable for warband whereas IB/knight ruled that realm for the past ~forever months.

I can not really agree with this.
No other class competes with the aoe potential of BW, and as rvr is aoe based anything else would be a compromise as I see it
Just from my side it would be interesting to hear how any other class could push a BW out of a group completely . This is sort of Destro mode where soc, magnus .. sort of interchangeable

You can not or will not, most of your resent topics have had a pretty clear undertone of being unhappy with the Brightwizard moral 2.

That being said, I personally agree with Dan about bringing other classes up to par with the Brightwizard when it comes to warband and largescale powerhouse, instead of just keep on nerfing the top dog. The latest set of changes have been good for breaking the Order tank meta for warband play, and just because we dont currently see DPS runepriest being used dont change the fact it holds alot of potential, call it sleeper OP if you want to The melee dps singletarget hero classes are getting buffed to give them roles in largescale where AoE is the most valued sort of firepower, is a big step in the right direction. Maybe they dont fullfill the "aoe dps role" but they do have legit spots in a coordinated or pug warband now, instead of just canonfodder or assistgroup.

And last but not least, if people on this server would stop running handholding and actually fight on terms that was not 3:1 Order wouldnt have to focus so heavily on the Brightwizard Aoe powerhose. Unless you expect us to have groups full of Singletarget hero classes to fight your 3 warband blob, with all the leaders coordinating on discord to flank and hit from all sides.

If you don't play EU prime time then u dont have idea of what's goin on in order...an entire realm is beein carried by a bright wizzard bomb warband, if they don't have that, order will die everytime, that's their pillar....evidence is whenever that BW warband is on vacation order will die everytime and that's a fact, it's actually sad that order has to rely on 1 warband to win at zerg fights, but hey looks like devs are lookin da other way to not balance those broken mechanics...at the moment it's cool because that single warband is our nemesis, enemy warband willing to play aggressive to make this game competitive... it's a war game, you are not supossed to win everytime that would be boring.

Oh think you misunderstand my issue with m2, I detest all damage m2 including tank raze. ....

This topic is mostly for a bit of lateral thinking especially around the all in one basket that is in a BW which is not Destro case

This I can not disagree with and as soon as that BW group logs business as usual for Destro. This is sad as order log Destro have no dwarfs to kill, well credit to dwarfs they do stand up even when they know they are doomed

I'm NA, so I have a different perspective. Have you ever seen a Riposte push with Slayer Retribution? Have you looked at Trial by Pain + Divine Blast potential for WH? The adage of "BW = top aoe dps" may still be correct, but it's not as clear cut anymore, and the meta will need time to adjust to changes to see the true potential for these new wb specs. Keep up

different builds, compositions and tactics work in different sized fights. aoe bombing is naturally the king of wb vs wb. if you don't enjoy this or don't play a class that fits into this, don't join the centre. you don't have to avoid the zerg altogether if there's where the fight is, just avoid the bomb. some classes are very good at surfing the zerg and picking off stragglers. some are very good in small, organized group. so you have both a pub and organized group option for avoiding bomb groups whilst still getting to fight

Yes I have the Slater warband with Sarx (think that was the toon) was mean, lot of fottage we had to go though to identify why they splatted us like bugs.
But they are sort of manageable as they self destruct like Choppa s
