Re: Respect

I was there last night and I totally understand your frustration, and I don't like the idea of realm switching either, it's a real passion killer. I mean one or two people switching sides to help out order is fine imo, but not so many it turns into a farmfest in the other direction. I thought initially the question about premade was directed at destro in general, did we come there as premade, the next SC it was pretty obvious what that was about though...

Friendly competition is always a winner for me, it's alpha I'm not here to farm k/d's, I'm here for the lulz.

I know I'm in the minority on this issue, but I'm dead against cross-realm communication. People get really, really pissed when they die. That hasn't changed from the live game. What has changed is the ability for those thin-skinned folks to curse you out via PM or in /say or accuse you of cheating. It tends to escalate rather quickly, and I personally don't believe that's worth the trade-off of being able to talk to your x-realm buddy in-game. Hop in vent and go to town if you want to do that. The rest of us don't need to see/read it.

I believe the environment would be quite a bit healthier if this ability were removed. Just my 2 cents.

You know why people don't wanna die? Because it could be a sign of weakness. Nobody wants to be weak only strong and powerful. Every little immature and spiteful player loves to see the enemy going down. Its so pathetic when the dominating side is flaming the camped side because they don't want to be RR cannonfodder. By constantly running into the hordes of the outnumbering realm, you just give them free RR and they will appreciate it. Its nonsence.

I know I stand often at warcamp waiting for the SC end. But as soon I realize that the fight will lead into a timewasting mess. For both sides. There could be a chance to grab some mates and try to go through the backlines but by the first evidence of a lose most players are demoralized. "Its not worth it"

I Totally agree with you that the personality of everyone shows at moments like these. Every time i have been at an order zerg there was never trash talking of the people staying in the camp. on the other hand when ever i was on the other end of the stick were it was us hiding behind the camp safety there would always be some Destro trash talking. thank god for these moments cause they show who the better person is.

I just wish people would realize there's a secret third faction...the arsehat.
These annoying twits are easily spotted by there mating cries...things like "you're just jelly","you mad brah..or bro"and "you're a baddie"
They swap class and faction at the first sign of a potential death.Because anytime you die in game you're e-peen shrinks and only the largest e-pens are allowed into the we're so Uber circle jerk

@ Deadpoet : I don't know if you played live or if it is your first time in Warhammer, but the feelings you expressed in your first post were mine when I started about 7 years ago. Not to praise myself, I'd say this is a grown up and mature point of view with enough distanciation keeping in mind it's a video game. I found out quickly enough that all kind of people play MMO, immature adults, mature kids, casual players, hardcore competitive, nobodies in real life trying to be important, frustrated people, gentlemen, idiots, clever people, leaders, followers, socials, selfish, independant.... My way of playing for the following 5 years was just to find a guild with people like me, organize groups and parties, use ignore list, switch off advice channel and NEVER enter a discussion on forums with trolls and attention whores. I ran with the people I liked, killed players, got killed myself and just enjoyed playing to the best I could. My name was never out there on the forums nor was I trolled as I just wouldn't react. And I intend to carry on that way :-)
