Login Issues

I am trying to play this game for the first time (ikr). My launcher works perfectly (i think), I let it patch everything, however when I press connect, it loads the game up but nothing happens. I tried closing and opening it, been doing it for the past 10+ minutes, still nothing. Do I have to install something additional things or just reinstall the whole file?
