Been Away - Launcher Question

I ran the patch, waited patiently. However, I need to run it over and over to enter the game?

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly? I assume it shouldn't take this long every time...

It will patch and check the files each time you open it, for a couple times at least. After the process is done (not sure how many times it will take), it will behave just as the old one.
