As we know, Onslaught PQs are out in all of their glory, and it is only natural that people have decided to flock to the PQs - eager to try them out.
However:
* The PQs are designed to be done by 24 people - they are not supposed to be zerged.
* For every one person that is in the PQ over the 24-player 'limit', the boss/adds will receive 5% less damage - and you will receive 5% more damage done to you.
This means that, even if you don't mean any harm, coming to a PQ that already has a warband doing it will result in the aforementioned 5% penalties going to everyone in the PQ.
For example: a warband is currently doing Slayer Keep, in Kadrin Valley. They have 24 people. A few solo players come along, thinking they'll throw a bit of damage and/or heals around to try and pad their contribution. 2/3 solo players = 15% less damage on boss, and 15% more damage on the participants.
For this reason, I ask people to have patience, and wait for the next available spot within a warband. Or: make a warband yourself, but take turns.
There are 3 PQs per side for people to do. There is no need to zerg the Onslaught PQs, and you are actually doing your realm a disservice (unintentionally as it may be!) by being a statistic over the 24-player 'limit'.
Thanks in advance.
