New Launcher Issues

Hello,

I hope this is an adequate place to post about my recent problems as don't post on forums often. My issue may or may not be caused by the launcher, but since it happened right after I thought I had all my ducks in order with the new launcher I figured I would post it here.

All seemed fine with the new launcher at first. I had to close and restart the launcher several times like most everyone else in order to get to where it stopped downloading needed files. But alas after a few restarts i was ready to be immersed in-game or so i thought. I logged in to encounter strange phenomena, and upon doing some brief research on the forums and more cheeky restarts, I had the game running fine with the exception of my keybindings. After a few scenarios the game crashed and I get a familiar message saying you have been kicked from the server please check your email. Thinking nothing of this I assumed the server was down, but it's been 24 hours and I still can't log in. I've been checking the forums for a while now to see if anyone has had this issue but I gave in and decided to make my own post as I am a little worried.

Having issues downloading the game in the launcher I get to 365/3451 files at 100% then receive this error message.

Disconnected from server. Error: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

I launched the game and tried the redownload as stated.Any help is welcome I'm not sure what more to do.

Remove me from this test launcher group - -I don't want to be your guinea pig for a launcher rolled out with many many bugs, I keep reloading the game files - the game is not working. The download did not work at all the first time, and once again is taking forever the second time. I didn't sign up for this crap.

You are killing your game with this ill-conceived, poorly thought out, bug riddled crap of an update. Forcing this stupid crap on people isn't right, I DID NOT sign up to be your guinea pig. Look at your game population, it is way down due to this stupid non-working update.

Your account is fine, we had a unfortunately timed certificate issue which is resolved, try now

Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately the issue is still present and all my attempts have failed. I'll attach a few screenshots of where the client crashes every time (crashes at the this same point in the first image). In the meantime im going to keep checking in/trying things out. Thanks a bunch to the RoR team for all the hard work!

So, this is what happens to me:

I start the launcher, it downloads a manifest and then goes through about six different "verification" steps, for a total of around 128,000 files, give or take.

It then "finalizes" and the loading bar goes away, as if it were done with the update, but the 'connect' button remains greyed out.

Then I restart the launcher, only for this whole process to repeat itself. I have restarted the launcher and repeated the whole thing perhaps a dozen times now, with no change.

I can't log in to game, connect button still grey after a dozen attempts of restarting launcher.... Please help.
