Yes. It should download 3455 files and then be buggy when you go in game. Then if you close the game and restart the launcher it will download 500 files. Then it should be golden.

The reason for all the files downloaded is because the distributed client was damaged at some point and lost files.

The game actually launched but seemed to get stuck on the loading screen. Re-trying the launcher now.

Downloading progress is saved every 1,000 files. So you should be fine.

Yaliskah's green instructions, if followed exactly, worked at resolving every issue I had. The login functions flawlessly for the first time since the update issue started.

Happy to report that after complete re-download and launcher update my wife has informed me the game appears to be working. I will not get to see for myself for another eight hours, but I have that to look forward to this evening.

New problem for me, with new launcher now it always - "you have been removed from the server" error.

Was completely fine this morning.
